When I left the UK with my family I had a household's worth of electronics to get rid of, because of the difference in voltage in Canada. All fairly new and still covered by warranties. Unfortunately it was still deemed to be "used" equipment so I had to virtually give it away. I wish U-Exchange would have been around then!

I love this site...What a concept. I'm sure many people have things lying around the house for which they have no use. Yet someone else would love to have them, and in return they get a service or product they do need. I also think the home exchange is a great idea, this would make a holiday much more affordable for my family.
