Some people barter because they're on a budget and feel it's a great way to find what they're looking for. Not everyone barters to save money however. Some people enjoy bartering because it offers a creative alternative to selling and they may like a good story to go along with the item or service they've received. It may be how they've exchanged homes for a vacation with someone in another country or the business owner that just made a great contact.

My girlfriends and I have been getting together and swapping clothes for a while now. It's been fun and we get a whole new wardrobe for free, makes the hubby's happy!
i have a bunch of little things to trade but in my area only. does it have to be a certain amount. not sure how this works

You can trade as little or as much as you like. If you don't see a listing in your area, then still feel free to post your trade.
Don't forget that there are thousands of visitors viewing trades, not just members. Who knows, someone in your neighbourhood could be looking in right now!
